| DynaVox, Inc. DynaMyte
Called the "Porsche" of communication technology
by its users, the DynaVox, Inc. DynaMyte incorporates the latest technological advances in
a sleek and versatile package. The DynaMyte vocalizes for people who cannot, and its users
have a variety of additional needs. The DynaMyte can be mounted on wheelchairs, handheld,
or stand on a desk. An integral rubber shell protects the DynaMyte and its touchscreen
from damage, while providing an inviting, grippable surface. Daedalus provided complete
design and engineering services.
In 1998, the DynaMyte was honored with an IDEA award,
sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America and Business Week magazine.
