Contrast Medium Injector

This injection system is used to administer contrast medium during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. The enhanced MRI scan produces clear and detailed three-dimensional images of the body for life-saving diagnostic and research purposes. The softly rounded form of the housing allows the technician to grasp any surface of the injector for positioning and syringe loading, and the bright indicator lamps signal the injection process to a remote operator. Daedalus Design has contributed to more than a dozen imaging products for Medrad, while establishing common visual standards that enhance the Medrad identity. In 1996, the Medrad EnVision CT Injector was honored with an Apex award, sponsored by The Management Roundtable.
