An alternative to shovels and snow-blowers
for snow removal, the Driv'nPlow® is an easy-to-use, affordable and rugged consumer snow
plow. Its unique attachment system adapts to most cars, light trucks, and sport-utility
vehicles without the use of tools or permanent alterations to the vehicle. Daedalus
Design was a collaborator in the development of the plow, and led the development
of the vehicle attachment system, instructional materials, and popular sport-utility
accessory.
The rotationally cast Driv'n Plow weighs just 43 pounds
and can be quickly disassembled and stored. In 1997, the Driv'nPlow® and Sport Utility
Accessory was honored with an IDEA award, sponsored by the Industrial
Designers Society of America and Business Week magazine.
