These awards honor those at the intersection of creativity and technology, and showcase the innovation happening in the Pittsburgh region. In previous years Daedalus has participated as both reviewer and awardee, so we are particularly delighted to be sponsoring the awards this year.
Daedalus is talking with fellow DATA awards sponsor Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney about a more seamless relationship between great innovation, savvy intellectual property protection and commercialization. If you’d like to join our conversation, the awards will be a great place to do that. We are particularly interested in finding a savvy commercialization and funding partner. The 2013 awards will be presented at a ceremony May 15 at The Priory, and will feature a presentation from journalist, author, filmmaker, and former CNN Bureau Chief, Chip Walter. If Matt Beale asks PTC really nicely, they may even allow him to present the design award this year.
