Daedalus is pleased to introduce Senior Electrical Engineer James Endres. Originally from
Wisconsin, James received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at UW-Madison, where he also met his partner Diana. He later honed his scientific skills at Princeton University, earning a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering while researching the electronic properties of organic and perovskite solar cell materials and their interfaces. Relocating to Pittsburgh, James shifted gears to robotics, contributing his expertise to RE2/Sarcos Robotics, where he developed robotic systems for diverse applications, including medical, baggage handling, and deep-sea applications. In his free time, he’s an avid reader, enjoys tabletop games with friends, and traveling with his partner.
